Empowering women across our business

We recognize the significant role of women within our workforce and acknowledge that empowering women leads to a more productive and successful workplace.

To achieve our goal, we have implemented specific programs aimed at empowering women within our organization. These programs include providing equal opportunities for women to occupy senior positions, organizing training and development courses and providing mentorship opportunities. Furthermore, we have established policies that guarantee a fair and equal working environment while also providing necessary support and resources that help women balance their work and personal lives.

At Avella Sights, we believe in creating opportunities that enable our female employees to thrive both professionally and personally. We strive for a workplace culture that values every team member and fosters success for everyone.

We’re not just looking inward. We are making sure we advance gender equality by working with women-owned businesses in our supply chain, the women in our reforestation project among many others.

Empowering women on our trips

We launched Women’s Expeditions – all-female tours led by female guides. These trips are all about breaking down barriers, building bridges, fostering discussion and creating immersive local experiences for women that are ordinarily off limits on our regular adventures. 

All of our trips aim to provide women employment opportunities through locally-led experiences – from carpet weaving workshops to an artisan jewelry business – while also supporting female-owned and operated businesses in our supply chain.

Amplifying women’s voices

We know representation matters. That’s why we ensure we feature women’s voices and highlight the many achievements of our female community on our platforms. These actions are guided by our Global Ethical Marketing Policy– which includes a commitment to working with diverse content creators – and measured with regular reporting.
