Day 1 - Arrival in Uganda, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
- Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative from Avella Sights will meet you and assist with the transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside as you make your way to the park.
- Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park and check into your lodge or campsite.
- Take some time to relax and settle in, surrounded by the park's beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
Day 2 - Game Drives and Boat Safari in Lake Mburo National Park
- Start the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. Explore the park's diverse habitats, home to a wide variety of wildlife such as zebras, impalas, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, and numerous bird species.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time.
- In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling boat safari on Lake Mburo. Cruise along the lake's tranquil waters and encounter hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of water birds.
- After the boat safari, you can choose to go on a guided nature walk or a horseback riding safari to further explore the park's unique flora and fauna.
- Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Transfer to Jinja
- After breakfast, bid farewell to Lake Mburo National Park and depart for Jinja, known as the adventure capital of East Africa.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside, passing by rural villages, lush farmlands, and beautiful landscapes.
- There will be a pitstop at Lemala Wildwaters for lunch.
- Arrive in Jinja and check into your accommodation.
- Rest and relax for the evening, or you may choose to explore the vibrant town and its local markets.
Day 4 - Jinja Exploration and Sipi Falls Visit
- After breakfast, embark on a half-day exploration of Jinja.
- Visit the source of the Nile, where the Nile River begins its incredible journey. Take a boat ride on the Nile and appreciate the natural beauty of this iconic location.
- If you are feeling courageous enough or if the adrenaline is boiling hot, take on kayaking the Nile and/or white water rafting. Or maybe a bungee jump would do for you
- Explore the Jinja Market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and browse through a variety of crafts, artwork, and fresh produce.
- In the afternoon, depart Jinja and drive to Sipi Falls in the eastern region of Uganda.
- Arrive at Sipi Falls and check into your lodge, nestled amidst the lush greenery and offering magnificent views of the falls.
- Enjoy a relaxing evening and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 5 - Sipi Falls Exploration, Travel Back to Kampala
- Wake up to the serene ambiance and enjoy breakfast overlooking the stunning Sipi Falls.
- Embark on a guided hike to explore the three magnificent waterfalls of Sipi. Marvel at the cascading waters and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
- After the hike, bid farewell to Sipi Falls and begin your journey back to Kampala.
- Arrive in Kampala and check into your accommodation.
- Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the city, visiting local markets, or enjoying some shopping.
- Overnight stay in Kampala.
Day 6 - Kampala City Sightseeing and Departure via Entebbe
- After breakfast, embark on a city sightseeing tour to explore the highlights of Kampala. Visit historical landmarks, vibrant markets, and cultural sites.
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, sampling Ugandan cuisine.
- In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Ugandan journey.
