Restoring forests in Uganda and empowering local communities with decent employment.
Reforestation project
Help us tackle the pressing issue of climate change and drive employment opportunities with natural climate solutions.
The enormity of the climate crisis can seem daunting, however, the solution is within reach and practical. The planting and nurturing of trees, for example, can not only help reduce carbon levels in the atmosphere but also revive diversity, provide jobs, and foster robust communities. This is why we came up with a reforestation project that seeks to take a proactive stance by initiating a reforestation program, whereby deforested areas are replenished one tree at a time.
Strengthening Local Communities
One of the core values of the program is to empower local communities by working with them to restore their lands that are decimated by deforestation. This inclusive approach creates meaningful employment opportunities while providing the foundation that strengthens, restores, and protects forests in the long term.
The project also places a strong emphasis on providing skills and employment for women and single parents.

Why Trees
HELP REVERSE CLIMATE CHANGE
Trees draw down billions of tons of carbon every year. More trees, more carbon absorbed.
RESTORE BIODIVERSITY
Wildlife love trees just as much as we do. Planting trees brings back wildlife habitats, wetlands and springs.
GROW LOCAL ECONOMIES
Every dollar donated creates local benefits, skill-building and employing people from the local community.
